Rugby league is a fast-paced, full-contact team sport played between two teams of thirteen players each.

Here's a brief overview:

Structure - **Teams**: Each team has 13 players on the field, with several substitutes available. -

**Field**: The field is rectangular, measuring 100 meters in length and 68 meters in width, with goalposts at each end. Gameplay -

**Objective**: Score more points than the opposing team by carrying or kicking the ball into the opponent’s in-goal area (try) or kicking it through their goalposts. -

**Scoring**: - **Try**: 4 points, awarded when a player grounds the ball in the opponent's in-goal area. -

**Conversion**: 2 points, scored by kicking the ball through the goalposts after a try. -

**Penalty Goal**: 2 points, awarded for certain infringements. -

**Drop Goal**: 1 point, scored by dropping the ball and kicking it through the goalposts during open play.

Game Structure -

**Duration**: Two halves of 40 minutes each, with a short halftime break. -

**Play**: The team in possession has six tackles (plays) to advance the ball and score. If they fail to score or make significant progress, possession is turned over to the opposition. -

**Tackling**: Players stop the attacking player by tackling them to the ground. After a tackle, the tackled player plays the ball to a teammate.
